Konzertaktion am Fliegerhorst Schleswig-Jagel 

16.-21. AUGUST 2017 bei SCHLESWIG/JAGEL

Fliegerhorst Jagel: Hier in Schleswig-Holstein ist das 'Taktische
Luftwaffengeschwader 51 Immelmann' stationiert. Hier beginnt auch der
Krieg.
- Von hier aus starten Tornados in den Krieg nach Syrien. Sie liefern
Ziele zur Bombardierung und Zerstörung.
- Hier werden Drohnenpilot*innen für ihren Einsatz in Afghanistan und
Mali ausgebildet.
- Hier werden Drohnenbilder ausgewertet, die in Mali aufgenommen wurden.
- Ab 2019 soll Jagel der zentrale Stationierungsort für
Bundeswehr-Kampfdrohnen werden.
- Jagel wird Luftwaffen-Ausbildungszentrum für die
Tornado-Kampfflugzeuge.
 „Aufklärung" klingt harmlos, ist aber zentrales Element jeder
Kriegführung. Hier werden tödliche Entscheidungen getroffen, deren Opfer
vorwiegend Zivilpersonen sind. Drohnenkrieg setzt die Hemmschwelle zum
Töten herab.
   Folgen des 'Kriegs gegen den Terror' allein in Afghanistan, Irak und
Syrien: fast 2 Millionen Tote und unzählige körperlich und seelisch
Verwundete; flächendeckende Zerstörungen; Millionen von Flüchtlingen;
Hass, Angst, Gewaltbereitschaft und neuer Terror. Krieg wird zum
Dauerzustand. Die Bevölkerungen sollen sich an immer mehr Rüstung
gewöhnen, statt auf friedliche Konfliktlösungen und Ursachenbekämpfung
zu setzen.
   Wirtschaftsbosse und Politiker*innen behaupten gerne, Deutschland
müsse seine 'Verantwortung wahrnehmen' und meinen damit, Deutschland
müsse aufrüsten und sich an noch mehr Kriegen beteiligen. Unsere
Position ist diametral entgegengesetzt: Verantwortung bedeutet, sich dem
Drängen nach immer mehr Kriegseinsätzen entschlossen entgegenzustellen.
Frieden können wir nie mit militärischen, sondern immer nur mit
friedlichen Mitteln entwickeln.
   Wir fordern:
KEINE KAMPFDROHNEN FÜR DIE BUNDESWEHR
KEINE AUSBILDUNG ZUM TÖTEN IN JAGEL
ENDE DER AUSLANDSEINSÄTZE DER BUNDESWEHR
ZIVILE KONFLIKTLÖSUNGEN STATT IMMER NEUER KRIEGSEINSÄTZE

P.S.: Schon gewusst,
- dass eine einzige Stunde Tornadoflug 43.000 Euro kostet?
- dass ein vierstündiger Tornadoflug 20.000 Liter Kerosin verbraucht,
- und dabei die gleiche CO2-Menge ausgestoßen wird wie von
durchschnittlichen KfZ-Pendler*innen in ihrem ganzen Berufsleben?

LEBENSLAUTE
Unter dem Namen LEBENSLAUTE engagieren sich seit 1986 musikalische Laien
und Profis, InstrumentalistInnen und SängerInnen, UnterstützerInnen
sowie ZuhörerInnen. Konzertaktionen finden einmal jährlich in Chor- und
Orchesterstärke, dazwischen auch in kleineren Ensembles regional, statt.
Die offene Musik- und Aktionsgruppe bringt überwiegend klassische Musik
gerade dort zum Klingen, wo dies nicht erwartet wird: auf
Militärübungsplätzen und Abschiebeflughäfen, vor Atomanlagen und
Raketendepots, in Ausländerbehörden und anderen menschenbedrohenden
Orten.
   Bei der Wahl unserer Konzert-Orte und -Aktionsformen lassen wir uns
nicht durch herrschende Vorschriften einschränken. Im Gegenteil.
LEBENSLAUTE-Aktionen suchen als Aktionen Zivilen Ungehorsams die
politische Auseinandersetzung durch angekündigten und bewussten
Gesetzesübertritt: Blockaden, Besetzungen, Entzäunungen, Betreten
verbotener Orte. Dabei ist es uns wichtig, lokale Protestbewegungen zu
stärken.
   Auch in diesem Jahr finden wir uns fünf Tage vor der Konzertaktion
vor Ort ein. Wir bereiten uns gemeinsam und intensiv auf unsere
Konzert-Aktionen vor und handeln auch gemeinsam. Entscheidungen treffen
wir basisdemokratisch, Bedürfnisse und Bedenken aller sollen
berücksichtigt werden. Es bleibt stets in der Verantwortung der
Teilnehmenden, wie weitgehend sie sich einbringen und was sie riskieren.

9.-11. JUNI 2017: Vorbereitungs- und Probenwochenende in KASSEL
Wir lernen uns kennen, beginnen mit den Proben und der thematischen
Arbeit. Wir planen die Aktion. Unterkunft und vegetarisches/veganes
Essen gegen Kostenbeteiligung entsprechend den eigenen finanziellen
Möglichkeiten (Selbsteinschätzung).
16.-21. AUGUST 2017: Aktionstage in SCHLESWIG-HOLSTEIN
Wir proben unser Konzertprogramm, diskutieren und üben uns in
basisdemokratischer Entscheidungsfindung. Wir bereiten uns auf die
Aktion vor. Unterkunft und vegetarisches/veganes Essen gegen
Kostenbeteiligung (Selbsteinschätzung).
21.8. 2017, MONTAG, 11 Uhr: AKTIONSKONZERT AM FLIEGERHORST
Mit unserem Gastspiel mischen wir uns musikalisch in den Betriebsablauf
des Fliegerhorstes ein. Wir solidarisieren uns mit den AktivistInnen vor
Ort, die seit Jahren gegen den Wahnsinn/Unsinn des Krieges protestieren.

KONZERTMUSIK 2017
Auszüge aus G.F. Haendels 'Alexanderfest' und M. Ravels 'Le Tombeau de
Couperin', Chöre aus Afghanistan, von John Dowland, Frederic Rzewski und
anderen, weitere Musik für Orchester allein und mit Chor in
Vorbereitung.
Folk, Jazz, Kammermusik, Improvisieren, Theater, ... sind als
Zusatzprogramme sehr erwünscht. Im Rahmen der Montagsaktion freuen wir
uns über derartige Beiträge weiterer Aktionsgruppen und
-teilnehmer*innen!

ANMELDUNG
LEBENSLAUTE ist offen für InstrumentalistInnen und SängerInnen, die uns
zu Vorbereitungswochenende und Aktionstagen verstärken. Besonders suchen
wir diesmal Blechbläser*innen und Oboist*innen! Nicht musizierende
Aktionsunterstützer*innen sind ebenso willkommen.
Eine Anmeldung ist erforderlich. Wir bitten alle, die sich musikalisch
beteiligen wollen, schon vor dem Probenwochenende ihren Instrumenten-
und Chorpart zu üben. Noten werden rechtzeitig zur Verfügung gestellt.

FROM BASS TO SOPRANO - UNITED AGAINST THE MADNESS OF WEAPONS AND WAR 

CONCERT ACTION at the MILITARY AIR BASE FLIEGERHORST SCHLESWIG-JAGEL

The military air base at Jagel: here in the state of Schleswig-Holstein
is the home base of the Air Force Squadron 51 'Immelmann'. Here is where
war begins.
- Here is where the Tornado fighter planes start their flights to the
war in Syria. They provide targets for the bombing campaigns and for the
ensuing destruction.
- Here is where young drone pilots are trained for their missions in
Afghanistan and Mali.
- Here is where the aerial photos from the drones in Mali are evaluated.
- 2019 is the year Jagel is to become the center of deployment for the
new armed drone fleet of the German Air Force.
- Jagel is also to become the Air ForceTraining Center for Tornado
Bombers.
'Reconnaissance' sounds harmless, but it is a central element of every
war operation. Here deadly decisions are made and civilians are
predominantly the victims. Drone warfare reduces our inhibition to kill.
   The consequences of the 'War on Terror' are horrific: in Afghanistan,
Iraq and Syria alone it has produced two million dead and countless
wounded in mind and body; blanket destruction; millions of refugees;
hate, fear, an increase in violence and ever new rounds of terror in
retaliation. War becomes a permanent condition. The general public of
all countries involved is meant to become accustomed to continual
increases in arms expenditures and to decreased concentration on
peaceful, nonviolent conflict resolution and the elimination of its
causes.
   Business leaders and politicians typically call for Germany to
'exercise its responsibility' and actually mean, Germany should increase
armament spending and participate ever more readily in warfare. Our
position is diametrically opposed to this: Being responsible means
decisively resisting the push for the increased use of warfare to solve
problems. Genuine peace can never be achieved by military means; it must
be developed and nurtured through peaceful, nonviolent measures.
   We demand:
NO ARMED DRONES FOR THE ARMY OR AIR FORCE
NO TRAINING CENTER FOR DEATH IN JAGEL
AN END TO ALL MILITARY OPERATIONS BY THE GERMAN ARMY AND AIR FORCE
ABROAD
CIVILIAN CONFLICT RESOLUTION INSTEAD OF THE CONTINUAL RESORT TO MILITARY
POWER

- that a single hour of a Tornado bomber flight costs 43 thousand Euros?
- that a four hour flight consumes 20 thousand liters of kerosene?
- and that in this period of time more CO2 is produced than in the
entire working life of an average automobile commuter?

Going by the name of 'LEBENSLAUTE' (Life Sounds)
Amateur and professional musicians from all over Germany, singers and
instrumentalists, have been gathering annually since 1986 to form a full
chorus and symphonic orchestra. They are joined by action supporters and
active audiences. On a regional basis there have been smaller but more
frequent projects. We are an open group combining music with social
action and perform mainly classical music in public places where this is
not usually expected: on the grounds of military training areas, inside
the halls of airports to prevent deportations, at nuclear production
plants and rocket depositories, as well as the offices of the
"Department of Alien Residency" and other places where human life is
threatened.
  In our choice of concert locations we are not influenced by official
regulations; on the contrary, LEBENSLAUTE designs actions of Civil
Disobedience which seek political confrontation and controversy. They
are previously announced and consciously disregard legal regulations:
blockades, sit-ins, fence-openings, walking where it is forbidden...
Whenever possible we strive to strengthen and support local protest
movements with our projects.
  Once again this year we will meet starting five days before our action
event. We will prepare ourselves cooperatively and intensely for our
concert actions and will act in a united fashion. Our decisions are made
on the basis of mutual consent (grassroots democracy), the needs and
concerns of all participants are to be taken into account. Each
participant is responsible for himself/herself and decides to what
degree he_she is willing to actively disobey the laws and regulations
involved. We support those who are faced with possible legal
ramifications with the mutual solidarity of the LEBENSLAUTE network.

LEBENSLAUTE ACTION 2017 - Concert Action at the Military Air Base

TIMES AND PLACES
JUNE 09 TO 11, 2017: Weekend of Action Preparation and Rehearsal in
KASSEL
We become acquainted, begin rehearsals and thematic work. We plan our
action project. Room and Board (vegetarian/vegan) is with cost sharing
according to one's own financial assessment.
AUGUST 16 TO 21, 2017: Days of Preparation and Action in in the REGION
AROUND AND IN SCHLESWIG/JAGEL
Here we rehearse our concert music, discuss our project and practice
democratic consensus building. We prepare ourselves and train together
for our action. Room and Board (vegetarian/vegan) with cost sharing
according to one's own financial estimate.
AUGUST 21, 2017 (MONDAY), 11 a.m.: Concert Action at the 'Fliegerhorst'
With our concert action we hope to stage a creative musical interruption
of the 'normal' daily war-routine at this air base. We will be acting in
solidarity with the local activists who have been protesting for years
against the insanity/absurdity of war.

such as folk music, jazz, chamber music, improvisation, theater sketches
etc. This also goes for artistic contributions from other action groups
and participants at the Monday concert action, if they are coordinated
with us in advance.
