Obviously, what is meant here is the plural of "Abdruck", which is
"Abdrücke" as in "Fußabdrücke" (foot prints). But I think this is not a
good example anyway, because the noun "Druck" (print, pressure) is a
homonym with the two plural forms "Drucke" (prints) and "Drücke"
(pressures). Note, how the plural of "Abdruck" (imprint) is "Abdrücke"
with U-umlaut again (don't ask me why). All this gets in the way here,
mentally. So, Pander managed to pick an extremely tricky word. Well
done! ;-)
As a simple example for the ck-rule, I suggest the word "Zucker"
(sugar), which is hyphenated "Zuk-ker" in traditional German spelling.
