[Tiptoi] GME files work on one pen but not on mine - "audio file not found" error

Hi Marius,
Thank you for these detailed suggestions ! Here are my answers :
1. START OID reprinting : Yes, I have been physically reprinting the START OID every single time I changed the Product ID. I've tested with :

  *   Product ID 1 → printed oid-1-START.png
  *   Product ID 100 → printed oid-100-START.png
  *   Product ID 917 → printed oid-917-START.png Each time with the matching newly printed START code.

2. Tiptoi Manager : I have not been using Tiptoi Manager at all during this process. I've been copying .gme files directly via Windows File Explorer (drag and drop), then safely ejecting the pen before testing.
3. Filename diacritics : The name contains no diacritics.
4. PDF file : I've attached the PDF file generated by SoniqPen for the corresponding .gme file.
The pens still give the same error: "Le fichier audio n'est pas sur le lecteur"
I've now tested extensively with Product IDs 1, 100, 917, 942, and 950 - all with freshly printed START codes - and the result is always the same on both my pens (1st gen and latest gen).
I'm completely stumped. The pens work perfectly with official Ravensburger .gme files, but reject all custom .gme files (tttool, SoniqPen) even though they work on your pen.
Could there be a hardware/firmware difference between certain pen batches that causes this ?
