Unter 4.1 SYNTAX steht nämlich:

Unter 3.1.  GENERAL DESCRIPTION steht zwar:

aber B.2.  SEMANTICS spezifiziert:

 >      Headers occur before the message body and are terminated  by
 > a null line (i.e., two contiguous CRLFs).

Demnach gehört die "null line" noch zum Header, was mir auch logisch 
erscheint.
