Das Log bleibt relativ unaussagekräftig. Bei Versuchen mit Evolution
kommt ein "timeout after CONNECT" bei OE kommt auf Port 465 ein
"postfix/smtpd[6617]: lost connection after CONNECT" und auf Port 25
meldet er sich mit "postfix/smtpd[6567]: lost connection after EHLO".

In meiner main.cf steht:
smtpd_use_tls = yes
smtpd_tls_received_header = no
smtpd_tls_key_file = /etc/postfix/key.pem
smtpd_tls_cert_file = /etc/postfix/cert.pem
smtpd_tls_CA_file = /etc/postfix/CAcert.pem

In der master.cf:
ssmtp    inet  n       -       n       -       -        smtpd -o
smtpd_tls_wrappermode=yes -o smtpd_sasl_auth_enable=yes

In der /etc/services:
ssmtp           465/tcp         smtps   # SMTP over SSL

SMTP mit sasl klappt wunderbar, nur SSMTP (was: SMTPS) eben nicht.
