Liebe Unterstützende, Interessierte und Musizierende der LEBENSLAUTE.

Die Rheinmetall AG ist Deutschlands größter Waffen- und
Rüstungsproduzent mit rund 3,5 Milliarden Euro Umsatz im
Unternehmensbereich Defence.  Im niedersächsischen Unterlüß bei Celle
betreibt der Rüstungskonzern einen Standort für Waffen und Munition,
einen weiteren für Landsysteme wie Panzer und schließlich Europas
größtes privates Waffentestgelände.  Mit einer musikalischen Blockade
der Waffenfabriken wollen wir Sand im Getriebe der Tötungsmaschinerie
sein. 

19.-21. Juni 2020 in Waltershausen (Thüringen)   Vorbereitungs- und
Probenwochenende,
12.-18. August 2020 bei Unterlüß (Niedersachsen)   Aktionstage.

Für uns steht derzeit eines fest: Es wird, auch in Zeiten von Corona,
eine Lebenslaute-Aktion im Sommer 2020 geben.  Ganz unabhängig von
unseren Vorhaben hoffen wir natürlich, dass die Lage sich bis zu unserer
Aktionswoche entspannt hat und auch größere Versammlungen wieder möglich
sein werden.  Allerdings planen wir auch für den gegenteiligen Fall,
denn wir möchten selbsverständlich keine Menschen in Gefahr bringen,
sondern vielmehr alles Nötige tun, um die Ausbreitung des Virus zu
verlangsamen.  Dabei sind wir fest entschlossen, unsere Botschaft auch
mit geringer Vorbereitungszeit und/oder in alternativen Aktionsformen
zum Ausdruck zu bringen:

Dear supporters, interested participants and LEBENSLAUTE musicians.

Rheinmetall AG is Germany's largest producer of weapons and armaments
with sales of around EUR 3.5 billion in their division Defence.  In
Unterluess near Celle in Lower Saxony the armaments company operates a
factory for weapons and ammunition, another for land systems such as
tanks and close to these also Europe's largest private weapons test
site.  With a musical blockade of the weapons factories we want to be
sand in the gears of the killing machine.

For us it is clear that even in these times of Corona, there will be a
Lebenslaute Action in the summer of this year.  Of course we hope that
the situation will be more relaxed by the time we have our Week of
Action and that larger assemblies are once again possible.  If this is
not the case we have no intention of endangering the health of ourselves
or others and will do everything necessary to help slow down the spread
of the virus.  It may become necessary to do with a shortened period of
preparation and we may have to develop new alternate forms of action. 
But in spite of this we are determined to let our message be heard and
seen:
