[Individual-members-EL] situation of the individual members

Hi all,

good news from Mike who keeps our mailing list (and is very busy at the moment writing his diploma thesis):

 We got new individual members in Germany and -
believe it or not - our first 3 Scandinavian members: in Norway. Sounds like a break-through to me.
As far as I know, only Asbjorn has registered for this mailing list up to now
- welcome Asbjorn!! - , but we hope your 2 fellows will soon tune in to our info exchanges
, too.

Concerning MArtin's recent e-mail:
I find our Brussels group's proposals very useful and especially supportive of
our common motion to the Congress in November in Prague. I've attached it again
esp. for those who have joined us recently or forgot about it.
(You would have to read the changes next to the original Statute, which you find on the EL websit.)
Claudia Gohde, member of the statute working group, will introduce it to her fellow
members of the group, and let's hope these 2 motions will go directly to the Congress
with small or no changes.

MArtin and friends have added the financial aspect. Your proposal is a start for circles of
indiv. members who have no national  member party to turn to.
And I think in some months or years all active circles will need some kind of budget.

Important financial news for those who - like me - read the Financial Status on our website
and found no specifics about the annual membership fee 2007 for individuals:
I made a short enquiry and 
THE ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP FEE 2007 is 24 Euros.

Finally, what do you think about Prodi's and others' idea of a Europe of different speeds, also
regarding a future EU-constitution? (see EU Observer 3rd May 07: http://euobserver.com/)
