[Individual-members-EL] situation of the individual members

Dear everybody,

 

I hope you are all well and active in the different countries?! 

 

We are still organizing some political evening here in Brussels. We also
took part in the 1. of Mai demonstrations here and we had a little stand at
cultural centre where there was a little festival for the 1.of Mai. 

The demonstration wasn't that big here in Brussels and dominated by some
beloved Stalinists, 

but therefore our white EL flags got lot's of attention in a clear distance
to them :-)

The first of May gave us the possibility to meet new people who are
interested in coming to our meetings.

Let's hope they keep their word!

 

Would be nice to hear form your side what is happening in your countries?!

 

We in Brussels drafted a letter for the recent EL executive board meeting in
Tallinn, its quite diplomatic

 Please find it enclosed.  Sorry for not talking about it with all of you
first but it was a last minute paper.

 

The EL Secretariat decided to make a decision on our matter here in Brussels
and concerning other countries where there is no member party.

The promised the answer soon. At the end of the document we proposed to send
a report of the situation of all the individual members in Europe. We think
it would be good so at the congress when there will be done the chances of
the statute there is a clear picture of the activities of all the individual
members. 

 

Concerning some changes for the statute:

There is now a working group for changes of the statute for the 2nd EL
congress in November.

I gave this paper to the group. When I remember it right, Uli you also had
lot's of changes?!

 

I also wanted to inform you about the next EL summer university:

It would be great if lots of you can come as we met the first time at the
last summer university!

As places are limited it would be good to know your decision soon!
