Liebe Leute, 

die GENug WTO- Kampagne, die Tomatentour waren Teil der Kampagne ³Bite
Back².
Der Streit um GVOs  vor der WTO ist noch nicht beendet,
deshalb leite ich euch eine Mail von foe(friends of the earth) weiter.

Wie ihr vermutlich wisst,
 hat die WTO  ihren  einstweiligen Entscheid  im GVO-Streit
 Anfang Februar den Streitparteien zugestellt.

Die Klägergruppe hat nicht in allen Punkten
gegen die EU gewinnen können.
Allerdings  hat sich die WTO teilweise an die Seite der USA  und der
Biotech-Konzerne gestellt,
indem sie erklärt, 
nationale GVO-Verbote  seien Handelsbarrieren und damit illegal;
europäische Vorschriften zu Verbraucher-  und Umweltschutz werden dem
Freihandel untergeordnet.

Damit können sich die USA, Argentinien und Kanada
auf eine legale Forderung  gegen die EU berufen.
Auf diesen Entscheid gestützt   wollen uns Biotech-Konzerne  den ³Genuss²
von  GVO-Nahrung aufzwingen.

Das lassen wir uns nicht bieten!
Hände weg von unserer Nahrung!

Mailt Minister Gabriel und Minister Glos,
damit sie  bei der WTO
 unser Recht auf GVO-freie Pflanzen und Nahrung
 schützen!
