Dear FoME,

Press freedom in Europe needs to be defended, preserved and protected.
That is the mission of the*E**uropean Centre for Press and Media Freedom
(ECPMF)*, based in Leipzig, Germany.

Currently, ECPMF and its partners are implementing the Media Freedom
Rapid Response (MFRR), a Europe-wide mechanism, which tracks, monitors
and reacts to violations of press and media freedom in EU Member States
and Candidate Countries. This project provides legal and practical
support, public advocacy and information to protect journalists and
media workers. Advocacy is a crucial element of this and other ongoing
projects.

ECPMF is hiring an Advocacy Officer

political debate. In this position, you need to be a self-starter and a
reliable team player. You will work in close collaboration with
international partners and their communication teams. The Advocacy
Officer reacts to threats to media freedom that are identified through
monitoring activities with direct communication, awareness-raising and
