[FoME] Webinar: Joseph Stiglitz, Anya Schiffrin, making Big Tech pay for news

Liebe Liste,

in Australien hat sich die Kartellbehörde (ACCC - Autralian Competition
and Consumer Commission) mit digitalen Plattformen und ihrer Marktmacht
in Bezug auf Nachrichten/-Dissemination beschäftigt. Sie empfahl einen
Strauss an Massnahmen, darunter Regulierung, Medienförderung, Förderung
von Medienkompetenz. Es sollte uns interessieren, wie weit die ACCC
damit kommt, denn in Australien könnte es einen Präzedenzfall für
digitale Medienregulierung geben.

and consumers. It also investigated a range of digital issues including
