Liebe FoME Liste,
das GIZ Sektorprogramm Menschenrechte führt in Kooperation mit der DW Akademie und im Auftrag des BMZ zehn Pilotprojekte durch, die neue Kooperationen und Formate im Themenfeld Meinungsfreiheit und Zugang zu Information erproben.  Das Spektrum der Maßnahmen reicht von der Unterstützung von Medienräten und Modellgesetzen über eine Verbesserung menschenrechtlicher Berichterstattung bis hin zu Partizipationsprojekten mit Jugendlichen.

Die Projektsteckbriefe “Freedom of Expression and Access to Information - Innovative Projects” stellen die Maßnahmen kurz vor:



-       Cambodia: Digital innovation for human rights

-       East Africa: Bolstering media self-regulation and right to information

-       Ecuador/Colombia: Justice requires information

-       Guatemala: Knowing the past helps shaping the future

-       Guatemala: Mensaje joven – youth reporters in Guatemala

-       Rwanda: Vas-y! Supporting media reforms in Rwanda

-       Uganda: Let´s talk about it

-       Zambia: Mapping human rights violations

-       Regional project Africa:  Dig deep - strengthening the right to freedom of opinion and access to information

-       Regional project Latin America: Promoting human rights standards in reporting
