Subject: Insight's PV Training 15th-19th June 2009

Dear Friends,

Participatory Video pioneers Insight are conducting a 5 day training in PV
as a tool for social change. The training is suitable for all
change-makers, community development practitioners, social workers,
activists, researchers, teachers, trainers and facilitators who have an
interest in or are seeking ways of strengthening citizens' voice &
locally-led change.

The introductory course will equip the participants with skills for
designing and facilitating PV processes. No previous video experience is
required. Experience in the use of participatory methods (for example,
PRA/PLA/Reflect) and basic facilitation skills are useful.

Insight runs two courses a year in London, UK.

Additionally, this year Insight will be running a 2 day 'Editing for
Participatory Video' course following the 5 day PV course, on the weekend
of June 20th - 21st.
