The training is suitable for all<br>change-makers, community
development practitioners, social workers,<br>activists, researchers, teachers, trainers and facilitators who have an<br>interest in or are seeking ways of strengthening citizens' voice &<br>locally-led change.<br><br>The introductory course will equip the participants with skills for<br>designing and facilitating PV processes. No previous video experience is<br>required. Experience in the use of participatory methods (for example,<br>PRA/PLA/Reflect) and basic facilitation skills are useful.<br><br>Insight runs two courses a year in London, UK.<br><br>NEXT COURSE: 15TH -19TH of JUNE 2009 in LONDON<br><br>Additionally, this year Insight will be running a 2 day 'Editing for<br>Participatory Video' course following the 5 day PV course, on the weekend<br>of June 20th - 21st.<br><br>Places on both trainings are limited to 12 trainees and are allocated on a<br>first come, first served basis, our last 3 trainings have all sold out so<br>BOOK

Nick has been working on climate change focused PV projects with the<br>Baka in the forest of Cameroon and with indigenous youth in Cambridge Bay,<br>Alaska as part of our bio-cultural diversity programme (BCD).<br><br>2. Chris has been working with INDIGO & IIED to use PV for M&E, supporting<br>Rooibos growers in the Western Cape, South Africa, focussing on adaptation<br>strategies to climate change.<br>He also visited the team at our PV hub in Inanda township, near Durban and<br>is developing a programme of community-led participatory media hubs across<br>townships in South Africa in the lead up to the South African world cup<br>2010.<br><br>3. Gareth and Isabelle have been working with the Maasai community in the<br>Rift Valley, Kenya, helping them
to record the impacts of drought and<br>their adaptation to climate changes.<br><br>4. Monika, Soledad and Jean-Luc are continuing to work with the people of<br>Lambeth at our London hub, with a strong focus on youth and Sport for<br>development.<br><br>5.
