Stellenbeschreibung

The advisor will support UNAIDS in amending and implementing a
documentation and communication strategy in order to improve the
dissemination of information on the HIV response in Sudan among UNAIDS
secretariat and partners at national, regional and international
levels.

Beschreibung der Entwicklungsmaßnahme: 

According to the Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and
Development (Southern) Sudan is a partner country. Activities focus on
water and good governance. In North Sudan, cooperation is however
limited to the civil society. The DED Sudan is supporting the capacity
development of civil society organisations and networks working in the
field of democracy promotion and human rights.

The capacity of UNAIDS concerning the communication and documentation
of the HIV responses in Sudan is increased. Information is shared among
UNIADS secretariat and partners on national, regional and international
levels. This enables a better coordination of activites, sharing of
lessons learned and therefore a higher impact of efforts on lower costs
for the final target group.

Under the overall supervision of UNAIDS, you collect, document,
organize and disseminate strategic information on the HIV response in
North Sudan. You contribute to a information sharing and exchange of
lessons learned among stakeholders on national and international level.

Ihre Aufgaben als Fachkraft sind:

You develop and implement an integrated documentation and communication
strategy
You lead and coordinate the collection of information of UNIADS and
stakeholders' activities
You provide subsistential support in the development and launching of
important reports
You assist in the communication with donors
You work close with the national HIV/AIDS network (SAN)

Sie bringen diese Qualifikationen mit: 

You have a university degree in communication, journalism, education or
related area
You have at least 2 years experience in the field of communication 
You are excellent in oral and writing communication skills (English)
You have strong interpersonal skills

You are able to work accuratley under time constraints
Demonstrated ability to work as a part of a high-performing team
You have experience with the islamic culture
You speak and write Arabic
You have experience in the work of HIV/AIDS
