Article 19 hat im Dezember 2005 mit Unterstützung der "European
Initiative for Democracy and Human Rights" der Europäischen Kommission
eine "series of baselines studies on seven Southeast Asian countries"
veröffentlicht. 

Die einzelnen Länderstudien ("Freedom of expression and the media in
Cambodia" etc.) behandeln u.a.:
* international and constitutional obligations,
*media situation,
* press regulation,
* broadcasting regulation,
* defamation,
* content restrictions,
* freedom of information and secrecy,
* informal restrictions and harassment of the media.

Die Studien umfassen jeweils ca. 100 Seiten im A-4-Format und sind als
PDF-Datei verfügbar unter: www.article19.org
