Oh, I thought they had been part of hyph-utf8 as well, named
hyph-de-1901.tex, which you suggested for grep. I've now found
conventional patterns in
texlive\2013\texmf-dist\tex\generic\hyphen
with their conventional names. So I seem to recall wrongly. Or did
these files move?
And, what is the difference between patterns in
texlive\2013\texmf-dist\tex\generic\hyph-utf8\patterns\tex
and
texlive\2013\texmf-dist\tex\generic\hyph-utf8\patterns\txt
Both seem to be in UTF-8. Why two flavours?
Best regards,
