[Tiptoi] French pens rejecting custom GME - German vs French hardware difference?

I personally wouldn't try flashing a firmware due to risks of bricking the
pen. There must be something we are missing, since the pen is functional.

Would anybody on the list be kind enough to print the PDF sent by Gaelle
and try it with the .gme also on the thread? It worked for my on my German
pen.
Does anybody have a French pen? Does it have the same issues?

Gaelle, would you please try again setting the same product id as one of
your French books? And also have a custom OID region with a sound. Using
tttool or in the SoniqPen studio just change product id. The Power on also
should be set to play a sound.
So we have:
1) original Book power on, Book region
2) printed power on, region
3) Book gme, custom gme

Your pen doesn't work with printed & custom gme.
with  custom .gme: if you scan the original book power on, will it do
anything?
with book .gme: scan the printed power on, will it start same as the book
starts?
(remember to "empty trash" after you delete .gme from pen)
