[Tiptoi] GME files work on one pen but not on mine - "audio file not found" error

Hi Gaelle,

Probably we're missing something obvious, but I don't know what.

Other ideas which we didn't cover in our email exchanges, just to make sure:

standard German error "Die Audiodatei für dieses Produkt ist nicht auf dem
Stift"
It does not mean that an .ogg file is missing inside your custom script.
It means: "I successfully read a START OID. That OID corresponds to Product
ID [X]. I searched the root directory of my USB storage for a .gme file
that claims to be Product ID [X], and I couldn't find one."

When you change the Product ID in tttool or SoniqPen (e.g., from 100 to 917
to 950), the software generates a new, completely different START OID image.
Did you physically reprint the Start OID every single time you changed the
Product ID?

Tiptoi Manager is known to actively delete or quarantine .gme files it does
not recognize, or mess with the file indexing.
Completely close Tiptoi Manager (make sure it isn't running in your system
tray). Plug the pen in, drag and drop the custom .gme file directly via
Windows File Explorer, safely eject the pen, and test. Do not open Tiptoi
Manager during this process.

Ensure there are no diacritics in the .gme filename.

Finally, could you please also send the .pdf file matching the .gme file
that you send?
