Hello,

since the last update of my debian-system I can't get any smart-infos of one
of my harddisk.

The version is: smartctl 6.6 2016-05-31 r4324
[x86_64-linux-4.9.0-0.bpo.6-amd64] (local build)

With the command smartctl -H /dev/sdb I get the message:

/dev/sdb: Unknown USB bridge [0x0bc2:0xab34 (0x100)]

Please specify device type with the -d option.

With the option -d ata I get the error

Read Device Identity failed: Invalid argument

A mandatory SMART command failed: exiting. To continue, add one or more '-T
permissive' options.

And with the option -d scsi I get
