Because WDC decided to omit this attribute. Even if attribute 187 would 
exist, it may mean something different. SMART Attributes are always 
vendor specific.

The "197 Current_Pending_Sector  ... 1" indicates one unreadable sector.

Similar: Because Samsung decided to omit this attribute.
