[smartmontools-support] 99 disk limit

I have a server with 101 disk drives in it and have written a utility to
poll various smart stats from the drives.

 

Problem is that smartctl only seems to support up to 99 drives.

 

Issuing this command, for example, only returns the first 99 drives:

 

smartctl -A --scan

 

Is this a known limitation?
