[smartmontools-support] Smartmontools issue - Gatekeeper in macOS Sierra or higher rejects DMG package

Currently the smartmontools install package in the DMG is not signed, which means any Mac running Sierra (10.12) will reject the package upon run. Inexperienced users may have trouble handling this problem, and no solution is posted in the FAQ, wiki, or documentation. Solutions include the bypass method of using right-click menu and consenting (could be included in FAQ or README etc.) or signing the package with a Apple Developer certificate which will give the user a choice directly when launching the package.
