hello

I have been watching this list for a few weeks and have
extensively studied your website for information.
Unfortunately, I am a little out of my depth ..

I have two USB attached hard disks, details at the end.

Using Windows and Acronis Drive Monitor 1.0 these disks,
in this exact configuration, fully support S.M.A.R.T functions.

Using Linux and smartmontools there is no S.M.A.R.T support.

I fully accept there may be nothing smartmontools can do ..
but I decided to ask here just in case there is some positive
action I can take.

Thanks for any help
