Der CNAME ist das Problem. Dieser ist bei MX nicht zulässig:

RFC1035 Punkt 3.3.9

> MX records cause type A additional section processing for the host
> specified by EXCHANGE.

RFC2181 Punkt 10.3.

Wenn ich mich nicht irre gibt es ein paar DNS Resolver, die das dann gar
nicht auflösen (andere stören sich nicht daran):
