den sasltype finde ich in deiner main.cf nicht 
da steht bei mir cyrus 

postconf -a
cyrus
dovecot

sasl zugriff wurden unter Debian  geändert. 

Schau mal unter /etc/default/saslauthd

# Example for postfix users: "-c -m /var/spool/postfix/var/run/saslauthd"
# Note: See /usr/share/doc/sasl2-bin/README.Debian
#OPTIONS="-c -m /var/spool/postfix/var/run/saslauthd"
