das Problem liegt daran, dass Postfix die smtpd.conf nicht findet. Ich
habe da auch Stundenlang, nein Tagelang gebastelt!

Leg bitte das Verzeichniss /etc/sasl2 an. Dort machst Du einen Link zu
der Datei /var/spool/postfix/usr/lib/sasl2/smtpd.conf und startest
Postfix neu.
Das sollte dann Dein Problem eigentlich lösen.
