[Postfixbuch-users] Outlook und sasl2

Hallo Liste;

Auf meinem Linux-Server ist cyrus-sasl-2.1.15 und postfix-2.0.16 installiert.

Auf dem Client läuft Outlook unter XP.

Ich habe einen User über "saslpasswd2" eingetragen und sasl mit der Option
--enable-login compiliert.

Nun habe ich mir die Seiten 162 und 163 im Postfixbuch durchgelesen und
verucht eine Authorisierung meines Clients mittels SMTP-Auth zu erhalten
( Mir ist bekannt, daß sich ab SASL2 Grundlegendes geändert hat ! ). Ich
werde vom Server immer abgelehnt:

Aus der Installationsbeschreibung Sasl habe ich die Info:

A: The LOGIN mechanism is a non-standard, undocumented plaintext mechanism.
It's included in the SASL distribution purely for sites that need it to
interoperate with old clients; we don't support it. Don't enable it unless
you know you need it.

Wie kriege ich eine Authorisierung meines Clients hin, geht es überhaupt
noch mit sasl2 in dieser Form ?
