[Individual-members-EL] changes to the statute

Hi Francis, hi Uli, hi everybody,

i am also fine with Ulis suggestions but i also think that change in article 6 (2) is not a good option. We have already people in the EL which are members of national parties which are not memberparties of the EL. (like in my case WASG is at the moment not a member) In that point i agree with Francis.
Your question why people join the EL from my view:
So i think the EL one day has to become a party of whole europe.(at the moment i think its not more than an umbrella organization of the national parties) This sure implements that there are also changes in the structures of the EU. I also want to have 1 state europe.. a europe with 1 tax system, 1 social system, 1 minimum wage, same living standards and so on..
And i think that idea to build something new on european level can become very attractive for many young people which are dissapointed from politics and from there right to say. (In germany for example we have a poor polling every year, especially young people dont vote because they are disapointed of politics and many of them know that in the globalized world the political clearance in our structures on local or national level is very limited.) I think this people which are not member in the national parties but member in the EL identificate with europe. So from my standpoint it is very important to become many individual members in the EL. Otherwise we will not be able to start that discussion of becoming 1 european party because there are also in the left old views and concentration on theyre own national level. If we are some thousands of individuals in europe the question of the future and understanding of the EL must be aked.

Best wishes
Mike
