Dear FoME  members,

We are seeking a Program Director (f/m/d) Colombia and Region for DW Akademie in Bogota as of 1 April 2024 or as soon as possible on the basis of a full-time local staff contract limited until 31 December 2025.

YOUR CHALLENGES

  *   responsibility for the DW Akademie program in Colombia and the region, including the project "Local Journalism for Climate Protection"
  *   responsibility for monitoring, evaluation and achievement of project goals and fulfilment of indicators
  *   responsibility for planning and compliance with the budget
  *   interlinking of all projects in the target country and the region
  *   management of the DW Akademie office in Bogota
  *   representation of DW Akademie vis-à-vis other German and local institutions in Colombia and the region
  *   reporting and constant communication with DW Akademie offices in Germany
  *   consulting and strategic development of the cooperation with partner organisations in the target region
  *   monitoring of the media landscape and political developments in the target country and the region
