Dear colleagues,

The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe today adopted
unanimously Resolution 1636 (2008) and Recommendation 1848 (2008) on
indicators for media in a democracy. These texts are based on a report
by Dr Wolfgang Wodarg (Member of the Bundestag, Germany). I am pleased
