Unser antifaschistisches Festival geht in die zweite Runde und wir freuen uns darauf im September viele neue Gesichter und alte Bekannte zu sehen. Vielleicht fragt ihr euch ja was „UAF” überhaupt bedeutet und warum wir das Festival veranstalten? 🤨

UAF steht für ‚United Against Fascism’ und der Name zeigt unser Anliegen schon ziemlich gut. Angestoßen wurde das Projekt letztes Jahr vom AStA der UHH als Reaktion auf das Erstarken des Faschismus unserer Gesellschaft. Mittlerweile ist das UAF gewachsen und besteht aus weit mehr ehrenamtlichen Helfer*innen als nur des AstA der UHH.

Das Thema Faschismus hat in den letzten Jahren immer mehr Raum in der Gesellschaft eingenommen, ob Faschist*innen im Bundestag oder Antifaschist*innen in Gefangenschaft: Protest und Widerstand sollte nicht nach der Bundestagswahl aufhören. 👁👁

Gemeinsam wollen wir im Rahmen des UAF einen Ort der Vernetzung und des Austauschs schaffen, der sich aus mehreren Perspektiven mit dem Thema Faschismus auseinandersetzt. Dabei bieten wir euch nicht nur einiges an interessanten Kulturevents an, sondern möchten euch dabei für unsere Panels und Workshops begeistern.

Our antifascist festival is entering the next round and we are looking forward to see new faces as well as old friends in September! You may be wondering what “UAF” even means and why we are organising this festival? 🤨

UAF stands for ‘United Against Fascism’ and the name is already showing what we are in for. The Project got started last year by the AStA UHH as a reaction to the rising right wing tendencies in our society. Since, the UAF has grown and consists of far more volunteer helpers than just the UHH's AStA. The topic of fascism has taken up more and more space in society over the past few years, whether fascists in the Parliament or anti-fascists in captivity: Protest and resistance should not stop after the parliamentary election. 👁👁

Together, we want to create a place of networking and exchange within the UAF that addresses the topic of fascism from multiple perspectives. We offer not only some exiting cultural events, but also want to interest you in our panels and workshops.
