We are getting old, I think. There were some changes (like renaming
Pinyin after a new official tag has been registered,
http://tug.org/svn/texhyphen?view=revision&revision=572).
But apart from adding new files there hasn't been any change in any
filename related to German (unless I forgot). In the beginning I kept
commenting out \message{...} in your files, but I no longer do that.
I still hope to be able to switch to your patterns by default for
pdfTeX one day though (once I get a green light) ...
