das </font><font color="#000000"><span style="font-weight:
normal">NETZ
für Selbstverwaltung und Kooperation Berlin-Brandenburg </span></font><font
color="#000000">tritt
für den Volksentscheid ein. Wenn Wohnungsunternehmen wie die
Deutsche Wohnen schamlos die Mieter*innen ausbeuten, indem
sie sie
auspressen wie Zitronen – wie es Wibke Werner, die
stellvertretende
Geschäftsführerin des Berliner Mietervereins einmal
ausdrückte –
dann ist die Politik gefragt, das Recht auf Wohnen
durchzusetzen. Die
Deutsche Wohnen ist bekannt dafür, sich nicht um ihre Häuser
zu
kümmern, Mieter*innen im Winter sogar frieren zu lassen, und
mit
Modernisierungen die Mieten extrem zu steigern. Solchen
Unternehmen
geht es nicht um die Versorgung mit Wohnraum, sondern um
Profitmaximierung.</font></font></font></p>
<p style="margin-top: 0.2cm; margin-bottom: 0cm"><font
face="Candara, sans-serif"><font style="font-size: 10pt"
size="2"><font color="#000000">Es
ist entlarvend, wie Berliner und Brandenburger
Wirtschaftsverbände
über die grüne Wirtschaftssenatorin Ramona Pop hergefallen
sind,
als sie es </font><font color="#000000">im Mai </font><font
color="#000000">gewagt
hat</font><font color="#000000">te</font><font
color="#000000">, sich
für den Volksentscheid auszusprechen. Die Wirtschaft in
unserer
Stadt verteidigt die profitgetriebenen Geschäftspraktiken
der
Deutsche Wohnen, ja sie scheint sich mit den übelsten
Immobilienspekulanten zu identifizieren. Diese Lobbyisten
unsozialen
Wirtschaftens mussten sich von Ramona Pop an die im
Grundgesetz
verankerte Sozialpflicht des Eigentums erinnern lassen. </font><font
color="#000000">Die
IHK legte am 6. Juni mit einem Offenen Brief nach: „Die
Attraktivität des Standorts wird erheblichen Schaden
nehmen“. Aber
wofür und für wen soll berlin attraktiv sein?</font></font></font></p>
<p style="margin-top: 0.2cm; margin-bottom: 0cm"><font
face="Candara, sans-serif"><font style="font-size: 10pt"
size="2">Deutsche
Wohnen und Vonovia, aber auch andere profitorientierte
Unternehmen
wie Google, AirBnB oder RWE – mit ihren jeweils bekannten,
zerstörerischen Auswirkungen auf Mensch und Natur –
repräsentieren
nicht die gesamte Wirtschaft. <b>Es geht auch anders!
Wohnungsgenossenschaften, selbstverwaltete Betriebe,
ökologisch
vorbildliche Unternehmen, soziale Träger und viele andere
zeigen
täglich, wie soziales solidarisches Wirtschaften die
Bedürfnisse
der Berliner*innen erfüllen kann</b>: Lokal verankert und
zuverlässig, kostendeckend und krisenresistent. Diese
Unternehmen,
die sich ihrer sozialen Verpflichtung bewusst sind, stehen für
qualitativ hochwertige Leistungen, verbunden mit guten
Arbeitsbedingungen und gerechten Wirtschaftsbeziehungen zu
ihren
Vertragspartner*innen.</font></font></p>
<p style="margin-top: 0.2cm; margin-bottom: 0cm"><font
face="Candara, sans-serif"><font style="font-size: 10pt"
size="2">Politik
und Verwaltung sind gefragt, sich nicht nur für die Enteignung
von
Unternehmen einzusetzen, die grundgesetzwidrig allein im
Profitinteresse handeln, sondern ebenso eine soziale
solidarische
Wirtschaft zu unterstützen – mindestens mit der gleichen
Selbstverständlichkeit, mit der bisher auch noch die
zerstörerischsten Industriezweige Subventionen erhalten. Denn
Berlin
braucht eine Wirtschaft für die Bedürfnisse der
Berliner*innen!</font></font></p>
