Geflüchteter auf der
griechischen Insel Lesbos</h1>
<p>Griechenland steht kurz vor
der Staatspleite, zeitgleich
wird auch die Situation für
Geflüchtete besonders auf den
Inseln in der Ägäis immer
verheerender. Um die 1.000
Menschen aus Syrien,
Afghanistan, dem Irak kommen
täglich in Schlauchbooten von
der türkischen Küste nach
Lesbos. Diese Ankunft bedeutet
für sie jedoch kein Ende ihrer
gefährlichen Reise.
Kilometerlange Fußmärsche bei
Tag und Nacht, überfüllte
Flüchtlingslager mit viel zu
wenig Sanitären Anlagen,
unzureichende medizinische
Versorgung und disfunktionale

<h1>Annedore Leber – ausbilden,
aufklären, kämpfen</h1>
<p>Es war Annedore Leber, die
viele Jahre – vor und nach dem
Krieg – die Kohlenhandlung in
der Torgauer Straße führte.
Diese Jahre waren verbunden
mit einem dauernden Einsatz
für die Demokratie, die
Zukunft der Jugend und damit,
den Nationalsozialismus und
den Widerstand vor dem
Vergessen zu bewahren. Nach
1945 prägte sie als Berliner
Stadtverordnete,
Bezirksverordnete und Mitglied
des Berliner
Abgeordnetenhauses den
demokratischen Wiederaufbau.
Sie gründete einen eigenen
Verlag, in dem Bücher über
Widerstandskämpfer*innen
erschienen. 1947 wurde
Annedore Lizenznehmerin der
Tageszeitung »Telegraf«. In
den 1950er Jahren baute sie
ein Berufsbildungswerk für
benachteiligte Jugendliche

<p>Die historische Spurensuche
zeigt den Wandel im
gesellschaftlichen Umgang mit
Armen vom Mittelalter bis ins
19. Jahrhundert. An die Stelle
religiöser Spendenpflicht trat
Regulieren und Kriminalisieren
des Bettelns und schließlich
Arbeitszwang. Dagegen
entwickelten sich vielfältige
Formen des Widerstandes auf
der Straße, in Literatur,
Kunst und sozialen
Initiativen. Wer kennt die
Frau, die schon 1813 die
Arbeitslosenversicherung und
Arbeitsbeschaffungsmaßnahmen
propagierte und organisierte?</p>
