Hallo zusammen,

am kommenden Montag den 2. März (19.30h) machen wir in Berlin 
(Mehringhof) zusammen mit RIPESS Europa* eine spontane 
Abendveranstaltung zum Thema *"Solidarische Ökonomie und Transformation 
in Zeiten von Krise"*. Dabei soll auf aktuelle Krisenlagen (insbes. in 
Griechenland) eingegangen und werden und RIPESS-Mitglieder aus 
unterschiedlichen Netzwerken Solidarischer Ökonomie Südeuropas berichten 
über ihre Erfahrungen.

Aufgrund der Internationalität der vortragenden RIPESS-Mitglieder wird 
die Veranstaltung in englischer Sprache abgehalten. Unten und im Anhang 
Programm mit Orts- und Zeitangaben.

Event announcement: *2nd March 2015, 19:30 – 21:00 o'clock, Berlin*
*Solidarity Economy and Transformation*

With the current economic crises in Europe, like e.g. in Greece, the 
questions how to resist and to overcome these crises get more and more 
urgent. Therefore we would like to invite you to a public lecture and 
discussion about the role of Solidarity Economy in economic crisis with 
the presenting of different experiences from different countries.

Solidarity Economy is internationally gaining more and more importance: 
Besides RIPESS (the
Intercontinental Network for the Promotion of Social Solidarity Economy) 
that connects social solidarity economy networks throughout the world 
since 1997, also an UN Inter-Agency Task Force on Social and Solidarity 
Economy (TFSSE) was established in September 2013 to raise the 
visibility of the Social Solidarity Economy in international knowledge 
and policy circles.

The announced event will be held by the Forum *Solidarische Ökonomie 
from Germany together with RIPESS Europe, the european part of the 
Intercontinental RIPESS Network. It is part of the preparation of the 
international *congress* „We know other ways! Solidarity Economy and 
Transformation“ that will take place from the *5th to 13th September 
2015* in/around Berlin and at the TU Berlin.

The evening event will be completely in English language!
