I'm trying to determine if smartctl assumes an ATTRIBUTE NAME when it is ran for a Micron SSD but also in general whn ran from a CentOS VM I use for working in a data centre.<br>

>From what I can tell for some drives they give smartctl the ATTRIBUTE NAME but smartctl can't always interpret it.</div>

Other times I would guess that smartctl assumes the ATTRIBUTE NAME if that is not given by the SSD.<br>
