Flatpack runs applications in a sandboxed environment.

Smartmontools requires full root access to raw block devices like 
/dev/sda or /dev/nvme0. Other tools with the same requirement (hdparm, 
nvme-cli, sg3_utils, ...) are also not available at Flathub.
