[smartmontools-support] smartctl short test taking too long on Toshiba AL13SEB300

Hi,

I'm running a short test using "smartctl -t short /dev/sdb" on the Toshiba
AL13SEB300, but the test is taking too long (hours) to complete, while on
the Seagate ST1800MM0129 the same test finishes in minutes.

I would like to know if this is a problem related to this hard drive or is
it expected?

Does the number of "Non-medium errors" affect the time to complete the test?
