Dear developers,
I am using an external USB-PCIe SSD which controller is JMS583.
On windows 10, using smartctl -d sntjmicron -a with no problems.
But got errors on Linux (Ubuntu 20.04):
$ sudo smartctl -d sntjmicron -a /dev/sdd
smartctl 7.2 2020-12-30 r5155 [x86_64-linux-5.4.0-65-generic] (local build)

Read NVMe Identify Controller failed: scsi error medium or hardware
error (serious)
I got only enclosure manufacturer name by '-d scsi' but no SSD info.
Please help, thanks.
Best Regards
Alan Huang
