[smartmontools-support] Enabling Temperature Warning support on SAS drive behind Adaptec RAID

I have a RAID 5 hung off an Adaptec ASR-51245 RAID controller comprising a
number of WD4001FYYG SAS drives.

One of the devices shows:

Temperature Warning:  Disabled or Not Supported
 :
 :
Drive Trip Temperature:        64 C

others show 

Temperature Warning:  Enabled

and all seem to have different Drive Trip temperatures.

1) How can I enable Temperature Warning on the devices that have it
disabled.

Is the Trip temperature what the drive powers down at or is it the Critical
temperature in SMART terms?

Either way how can I set this?
