<p>I connected it to a debian bookworm server (up to date server) with Smartmon 7.3 installed. It was not recognized.</p>
<p>The manufacturer speaks about a jmicron firmware update tool, but smartmon does not recognise the drive with "usbjmicron" type. The "sat" type works for me.</p>

<p>I tested it with an Seagate Exos X16 (14Gb) drive. The attachment is derived from it.</p>
<p>I also tested it with an WDC WUH722422ALE6L1 - western digital Ultrastar 22Gb drive (sata, SEP).</p>
