[qutebrowser] Does fake-key work in Insert Mode?

Works fine for me (though the -g shouldn't be needed).
Not much more I can say with such little information...
What exactly did you bind, what did you do, and what happens?
Does it work with --temp-basedir?
Can you show your :version info?
