Problematische Aspekte des TISA sind in erster Linie die beabsichtigte Liberalisierung von diversen Bereichen des Service public (Gesundheit, Bildung, Energie, etc.) der Landwirtschaft und die Unterstellung unter die WTO Gerichtsbarkeit.<o:p></o:p></div><div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt; font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;">TISA ist das Nachfolgeprojekt von GATS: Die Erkenntnis hat sich durchgesetzt, dass die Doha-Runde als Verhandlungsgefäss nicht zielführend ist. Die Doha-Dossiers sind damit allerdings nicht vom Verhandlungstisch. Es finden zurzeit in Genf Verhandlungen im WTO-Rahmen, vor allem zur Handelserleichterung statt. Die Arbeiten stützen sich auf das GATS und sehen eine hybride Verpflichtungsliste vor.
