Dear GB Individual Members of EL,

You may be aware that following Ken Loach's call for a new Left Party, arising form his 'Spirit of 45' film, a website and an organisation called Left Unity has been established.

You can go on there and sign up to support the initiative.  I can't do so publicly because of my Union work but you may want to.

What you may not know is a Left Party has already been registered for 'Great Britain' with the Electoral Commission by Kate Hudson and Andrew Burgin so this seems to be a serious initiative.  They seem to have contact with EL and Transform.  I'm talking to them next week.  I'll tell you more
