[Individual-members-EL] Meeting In London

I'm using the list to ask any members resident in GB whether they would be able/prepared to meet informally in a pub probably Friday 5th or Saturday 6th January in London.  Martin from the Brussels office will be in London and I hope to meet up with him.  I met with him last in Brussels in November.  I would like others to come along.

Before Xmas I also met with two other individuals keen to begin an association with EL and who wanted to be involved in establishing an EL network in GB.  I also heard in Berlin in October that the Executive Board will be considering the question of whether Respect should join the EL.  So there are a few issues.

At the moment any individual member resident in GB is simply participating in the EL as precisely that, an individual member.  Some of us are on this mailing list, others are not.  In my discussions with people interested in the website there was an interest in founding a network including a website known as 'The Left - Members if the European Left'.  A comrade is formulating the website as I write under that title using material from the EL website as a starting point, Statute, Manifesto, that kind of thing.
