textwidth and fontstrings

Hi Franz,

Thanks for using hlwm! :-)

Sorry, for some reason, your attachement textwidth2.c was removed by the
mailing list distributor. For the panel, many people now use barpyrus[1]
which has alignment properties built in, so textwidth is not required
anymore. I only ship the dzen2-based panel.sh with hlwm for
compatibility, but I'd like to restrict the administration work for the
dzen2-panel to a minimum. Since your contribution improves textwidth,
which is part of dzen2, maybe you can try to submit it to the dzen2
project (but I don't know whether there are still people maintaining
it).
