Mai 1933 wurden in Bremerhaven auf dem Theaterplatz Bücher von kritischen Autoren und Organisationen verbrannt. Hier in unserer Stadt war das erste Ziel das Gewerkschaftshaus mit seiner Arbeiterbibliothek und vielen politischen Schriften. Das Aktionsbündnis gegen Rechts – Bremerhaven bleibt bunt, die OMAS GEGEN RECHTS BREMEHAVEN UND UMZU, der VVN BdV und das Historische Museum veranstalten als Erinnerung und Mahnung für die Zukunft eine Lesung.
