Die im letzten Newsletter dargestellte Verbesserung der Unterschriftszahlen in Deutschland hält an, aber vor allem Spanien macht in den letzten Wochen große Schritte und liegt im prozentualen Anteil des notwendigen Mindestquorums mit über 76 Prozent inzwischen auf dem zweiten Platz hinter Slowenien und vor Deutschland. Seit ein paar Tagen erreicht Italien täglich dreistellige Ergebnisse und auch in Portugal und Österreich gibt es ein wenig Bewegung.

März wird es ein nächstes bundesweites Bündnistreffen geben. Sollte die Pandemielage es irgendwie zulassen, möchten wir uns real in Hannover treffen, und zwar im Kulturzentrum Pavillon, Lister Meile 4, 30161 Hannover, beim Hauptbahnhof (300m). Eine genaue Zeit steht noch nicht fest, da wir eventuell auf ein Onlineformat ausweichen müssen, aber Beginn wird nicht vor 11.00 und Ende nicht nach 18.00 Uhr sein. Herzlich sind dort nicht nur Vertreter*innen von Bündnisorganisationen willkommen, sondern ganz ausdrücklich auch Einzelpersonen, die aktiv mitarbeiten möchten. Es gibt eine ganze Menge von Ideen, was man noch tun könnte, um die EBI zu unterstützen, aber bisher viel zu wenige Aktive, die mit anpacken.</span></span></span></p><span style="font-weight:normal">

Es äußerten sich auch Silicon-Valley-Unternehmer und Manager positiv über diese Idee. Ebenso plädieren einige deutsche Unternehmenschefs dafür, auch Wissenschaftler aus dem IT-Zusammenhang. Im Vordergrund stehen dabei Argumente für das Grundeinkommen, die sich aus einem prognostizierten Wegfall von Erwerbsarbeitsplätzen durch die Digitalisierung ergeben.
</span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Calibri;font-size:10pt;"><span style="font-weight:normal">Wir reden aber auch ohne Digitalisierung über Grundeinkommen. Die bedingungslose Absicherung der Existenz und gesellschaftlichen Teilhabe ist ein Menschenrecht – unabhängig davon, ob Digitalisierung stattfindet oder nicht. Ein emanzipatorisches bedingungsloses Grundeinkommen ist nur eine Form dieser bedingungslosen Absicherung, bei weitem nicht die einzig mögliche.</span></span></p><p style="font-size:10pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Calibri'"><span style="font-weight:normal">Dennoch verstärkt die fortschreitende Digitalisierung die Debatte über ein solches Grundeinkommen, weil sie die Arbeitsverhältnisse neu gestaltet. Zwar ist nicht absehbar, welche technischen Potenziale wie rasch oder überhaupt umgesetzt werden, aber „Arbeit“ wird zukünftig</span></span></p><p style="font-size:10pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Calibri'"><span style="font-weight:normal">voraussichtlich immer weniger darin bestehen, morgens ins Büro oder in die Fabrik zu gehen, dort jahrelang die gleichen Dinge wie am Tag zuvor zu tun und abends nach Hause zurückzukehren.</span></span></p><p style="font-size:10pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Calibri'"><span style="font-weight:normal">Unabhängig davon, wie viele Arbeitsplätze es in 20 oder 30 Jahren weniger geben könnte, ist unbestritten, dass sich die bleibenden Arbeitsplätze stark verändern werden und damit auch ihre Besetzung. Der damit verbundene Umbruch ist potenziell disruptiv, er kann in wenigen Jahren geschehen und enorme Verwerfungen in der Gesellschaft nach sich ziehen. Zukunftsangst, tatsächlicher sozialer Abstieg und Demokratiefeindlichkeit werden dann häufiger, wenn man nicht die digitale Revolution auch mit einer sozialen Revolution begleitet. Für Anke Domscheit-Berg, die digitalpolitische Sprecherin der Linksfraktion im Bundestag, “ist das BGE ein wichtiger Baustein einer solchen sozialen Revolution, denn niemand müsste Existenzangst wegen der Digitalisierung haben, wenn es ein BGE als verlässliches Sicherheitsnetz für alle gäbe”.
