Wirtschaftstheorie, ganz besonders aber in der Unternehmens-, Wirtschafts- und
Sozialpolitik, wird der Begriff „produktive Arbeit” heute als weitgehend
unproblematischer Grundbegriff angesehen. Er dient zur Fundierung, Beobachtung
und Organisation produktivitätssteigernder Maßnahmen und wird etwa in
Gesetzestexten, in sozialpolitischen Verordnungen oder auch in Parteiprogrammen
festgeschrieben. Nicht zuletzt dadurch gerät aber die Grenze, die dieser Begriff
zieht, in Bewegung. Altgediente Annahmen, wie etwa die, dass Arbeit als
produktiv gilt, wenn sie monetäre Mehrwerte schafft, werden in einer
Gesellschaft fragwürdig, in der nicht mehr zu übersehen ist, dass eben dieselbe
Arbeit die Umwelt verschmutzt, Arbeitsplätze vernichtet oder die Wertschöpfung
ins Ausland verlagert. Deutlich wird damit, dass Arbeit grundsätzlich in höchst
unterschiedlicher Weise als produktiv erlebt werden kann. Festzustellen, was in
dieser Gesellschaft als „produktive Arbeit”<I> </I>gilt, wird zu einem
aufwändigen Unterfangen, das selbst Arbeit macht und damit die eigene
Problematik unaufhaltsam verschärft.<BR></SPAN><SPAN
style="FONT-SIZE: 12pt; FONT-FAMILY: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-ansi-language: DE; mso-fareast-language: DE; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA"><FONT
face="Arial Narrow">Die Vorträge der Veranstaltungsreihe werden vor diesem
Hintergrund historische, theoretische wie auch konkrete sozialpolitische,
ökologische und wirtschaftliche Bedingungen „produktiver Arbeit” thematisieren.
Im Zentrum der Aufmerksamkeit stehen dabei u. a. folgende Fragen: Wie und zu
welchen Kosten verständigt sich die Gesellschaft heute auf operable
Produktivitätsvorstellungen? Auf welchen Erwartungen und Unterstellungen
basieren diese? Welche Aspekte müssen dafür außer Acht gelassen oder gar
strategisch ausgeblendet werden? Wie werden diese Produktivitätsvorstellungen
ideell und institutionell stabilisiert? Wie kann dieser Verständigungsprozess
analytisch und organisatorisch erfasst werden, um ein „Weiterarbeiten” in sozial
verträglicher, ökologisch nachhaltiger und wirtschaftlich produktiver Hinsicht
zu gewährleisten.</FONT></SPAN></FONT></SPAN><SPAN
